New "Student" iPad

Apple announces a new iPad aimed at students (special pricing @ $299 for schools).

This is probably a pretty good move for Apple to help curb the share the Chromebooks are taking. The new iPad is still premium priced and the stylus will be an additional $89/$99.

My main question will this help save cursive handwriting for taking notes? My guess is, probably not.
