Spam Calls

I don't know about you, but I have seen an uptick in annoying, robocalls made to my mobile. This was a good article explaining some of the drivers behind the trend.

Long story short, follow the money. These robocallers make money even if you don't pick up the call because they receive fractions of a penny on the calls from caller ID providers.

I suggest removing the opportunity to make any money (preferably imposing a cost) making these calls and create other ways to identify and filter or block the offending calling telephone numbers.
